Rachel West is a law student at Texas A&M School of Law and is expected to graduate in May 2023. She will be taking the Uniform Bar Exam in July 2023. Rachel currently stays involved in law school as a Citation Editor for the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law and the Treasurer of the Aggie Health Law Society.
Rachel is a native Texan who grew up in Central Texas. After law school, she intends to focus her practice of law in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship, and special needs planning. As the sibling of an individual with special needs, Rachel understands the complex issues that families of disabled loved ones must grapple with. Her passion is helping individuals with special needs and their families to prepare for the future.
During law school, Rachel has gained experience by interning with public interest organizations and law firms. She has previously interned at Disability Rights Texas and with the Medical-Legal Partnership between MHMR of Tarrant County and Legal Aid of Northwest Texas. She worked in the Probate and Estate Planning Clinic at Texas A&M School of Law and is expected to graduate with the Estate Planning Concentration.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys crocheting, knitting, and sewing her latest project while cheering on the Texas Longhorns and Buffalo Sabres. She likes getting out into nature by hiking and sailing.
